General Questions

What equipment, for which course?

The specific hardware requirements for each course are clearly detailed in the course description. You can check our Course Catalog page to find out the hardware specifications required for a particular course.

In general, we use the iPad2 for preschool classes, as well as introductory robotics and artificial intelligence courses. For all other courses, a laptop is required, with a Windows 10+ or MacOs X+ operating system, a dedicated graphics card, as well as at least 8 GB of random access memory (RAM) and at least 15 GB of hard disk space available

Can parents be present?

The presence of parents is not necessary. Our training sessions are designed in small groups, with a maximum of 6 students per course. For classes aimed at children aged 5-6, we understand that some parents may wish to remain in class. However, we generally recommend allowing the child to participate with their peers, in pairs with the instructor. We believe this approach promotes an optimal learning environment. At the end of each lesson session, we provide a detailed training document to parents, which summarizes the day's lesson in detail. This allows parents to stay informed about their child's progress.

Course payment and refund policy

Courses are generally organized over a duration of 10 sessions, each lasting from one to two hours depending on the course content. Full payment must be made, either online or in person, before the course begins. In the event of cancellation, a pro-rata refund will be possible for sessions not attended. For online payments, we use Stripe, a platform offering various secure and encrypted payment methods.

Child's absence

In the event that a child is unable to attend a scheduled session, we can consider two options. Firstly, it is possible to organize a catch-up session, subject to the agreement and availability of the educator. Second, a pro-rated refund may be given for classes the child did not attend.

Course structure

Courses are designed to progress gradually through regular learning levels over sessions. Therefore, once a course has started, it is generally not possible to register a new student during the session. However, exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to instructor approval.
